Isaac was one of my first betas. I didn't turn him. Derek did. We're pretty good friends, and he's helped me out in a lot of binds, but he left after Allison died.
[Wow, that's such a Malia question. His eyebrows raise at it, but there's no moment of uncomfortable silence because they aren't in Stiles' Jeep or anything.]
Freak me out? No not really.
Surprised? Yeah.
Relieved. I'm relieved more than anything.
[Because this is a good thing. It's 500% a good thing.]
[ She barely knows the girl; still hasn't actually met her, or even talked to her on the network. Still, Malia knows Scott, and she knows that Scott would never, ever choose an option where someone isn't alive. Regardless of how much it might change everything, or the possibility that she'll turn into— an undead zombie vampire, or something. ]
do you think when we go home she'll still be alive? like she never died?
Lydia said that each of us create a different timeline whenever we make a wish here. That's why I don't remember being here before. So that when we go back, we all just see the results of that one wish, and not what the others have done.
I don't really get it. [That's more Stiles' area of expertise. Scott isn't well-versed enough in science fiction. He understands the altered timelines, but there's a part of him that would prefer for everything to come together in an amalgamation, because he knows all of his friends are here for good reasons.
Then again, there's also Peter.
Peter is a walking Bad Reason.]
But I know I came here to bring her back. I just don't know if I should change that yet, because of the timelines. [Lydia had made a point about Allison having a choice, but for Scott, he wants her to be there, to be with them in senior year. She should be. It's a simple fact.]
